Since his appearance on Big Brother this summer Gerry is doing his best to avoid the post BB circuit of clubs and tabloid stories, he’d prefer to get proper jobs as an arts correspondent and journalist. Gerry has three degrees in history of Art, Classical Archaeology and History from Edinburgh University. And is half-way through a PHD on the influence Bronze Age art had on Contemporary sculpture, to be submitted to the University of Athens.

His jobs have almost entirely been in the commercial Art world including training at Sotheby’s and consequently working for the ex-director of the auction house and verifying the provenance on multi-million pound art works. He has got a book deal with Random House for “Treat them Mean to Keep them Keen” which is basically Gerry’s Guide to dating exclusively for Women which launches on Valentine’s Day next year. His two great loves are Greece and Scotland and his future plan is to donate his grandmother’s home in Greece to the Department of Classics in Edinburgh University so that British students can earn a travel Scholarship to study in Greece.

Gerry is a specialist in the field of Pre-historic art and he’s also a minor celebrity. When he walks down the street he is mobbed by teenagers, small children and families. His ambition is to funnel this broad appeal to encourage people to talk about art and visit museums. His dream is to become the new sister Wendy!
